Earlier this month, CHARLIE SHEEN said he was in talks to star in a sitcom called "Anger Management", which would be loosely based on the 2003 ADAM SANDLER movie of the same name. (--For more info, hit up our previous story, here.)
--Well, now it's official.
--Charlie says, quote, "I chose 'Anger Management' because, while it might be a big stretch for me to play a guy with serious anger management issues, I think it is a great concept." (--The production company also confirmed the deal.)
--No further information was revealed . . . so there's still no word on a network, or when it might premiere.
RELATED COMEDY: Producers have yet to decide how to kill off Charlie Sheen's character in "Two and a Half Men". But thanks to hiring Ashton Kutcher, they found a perfect way to kill off the show as a whole.
