KAT VON D was scheduled to be a guest on the talk show "Good Day L.A." yesterday . . . but she walked out shortly before she was scheduled to go on.
--Apparently, it was because they mentioned her ex-fiancé JESSE JAMES in their intro . . . right after showing that preview clip from "LA Ink" of her getting Jesse's face tattooed under her arm.
--What host JEFF MICHAEL said that apparently set Kat off was, quote, "She just broke up with fiancé Jesse James, but not before getting a tattoo of his childhood picture."
--Moments after leaving the set, Kat Tweeted, quote, "Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion [and] respect for each other never fails to disappoint me."
--Co-host JILLIAN BARBERIE replied, quote, "Why was it disrespectful? We said you guys broke up . . . We showed the clip your publicist sent. It showed you and Jesse. Were we not supposed to mention you broke up?"
--Kat replied that she objected to the, quote, "disrespectful intro you guys 'snuck' in" . . . adding, quote, "Publicly disrespecting people for the sake of better ratings isn't something a person of compassion does. Good day."
--Before this mini Twitter war even started, Jillian and the other hosts discussed Kat's departure on-air. (--Here's video.)
