John Mayer Rips Into Taylor Swift for Writing a Song About Him After They Broke Up

TAYLOR SWIFT is among the many ladies JOHN MAYER has had a taste of.  But what John didn't know at the time was that he was just setting himself up to be a FUTURE SONG LYRIC.

--And after they broke up, that's exactly what he became.  Taylor's 2010 album "Speak Now" included the song "Dear John", with such lyrics as, quote, "Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?"

--Well, in the new issue of "Rolling Stone", John really rips into Taylor over the whole mess.  He says, quote, "It made me feel terrible.  Because I didn't deserve it.

--"I'm pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that.  It was a really lousy thing for her to do."

--He adds, quote, "I never got an e-mail.  I never got a phone call.  I was really caught off-guard, and it really humiliated me at a time when I'd already been dressed down.

--"I mean, how would you feel if, at the lowest you've ever been, someone kicked you even lower?"

(--The song came out around the time John was being harassed for interviews where he used the N-word and referring to his ex-girlfriend Jessica Simpson as "sexual napalm.")

--And in perhaps his unkindest cut, John calls it, quote, "CHEAP SONGWRITING."

--He says, quote, "I know she's the biggest thing in the world, and I'm not trying to sink anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait till he gets a load of this!'  That's bull[crap]."

(--I give SERIOUS PROPS to John Mayer for standing up to Taylor Swift.  She's played the innocent victim card one too many times.  She's nothing but a 90-POUND BULLY.)

(--She went after Joe Jonas in "Forever and Always", then she wrote that song "Innocence" about Kanye West interrupting her at the VMAs.  And her upcoming album will supposedly have some stuff about Jake Gyllenhaal breaking up with her.)

(--Personally, I'm getting pretty tired of Taylor Swift asking us to feel her pain.  She's an adult now.  DEAL.)

(--And remember this, Taylor:  If you date 50 guys, and you think they're all A-holes . . . it's actually probably YOU who's the A-hole.)

(--Delicious Audio Alert:  Check out Taylor Swift's "Dear John" here.)

(--If there's a saving grace for Taylor it's that she did write an APOLOGY song to Taylor Lautner after their relationship ended.  It's called "Back to December".)
