DEENA from "Jersey Shore" was arrested yesterday afternoon in Seaside Heights after she got hammered . . . and started dancing through the streets.
--There was a crowd of people around her, but there were also cars trying to drive through. The cops tolerated it for a while . . . and then they cuffed her, and put her in the back of a squad car.
--The police chief said she was arrested for being, quote, "a little intoxicated." He added, quote, "[It's] nothing major, but we can't put up with it." She was booked for disorderly conduct and released.
(--TMZ has video. Deena gets cuffed at the 1:20 mark. At the end of the video, the guy who's filming it suggests that he could sell it to TMZ, which he did.)
(--The cast may be wasting taxpayers' money by needlessly preoccupying the police . . . but at least they're providing paying gigs for anyone in town who's got a camera phone. No talent required. Just like being on "Jersey Shore".)
(--By the way, you might want to keep this video on hand in case your town is ever thinking about hosting a reality show. I don't know what Seaside Heights gets out of this, but it can't be worth the hassle.)
