Father's Day weekend wasn't kind to the new comedies at the box office. TOM CRUISE'S "Rock of Ages" made just $15 million in 3rd place . . . and ADAM SANDLER'S "That's My Boy" did even worse with $13 million in 5th place.
--Instead, the holdovers from last week took the top spots once again. "Madagascar 3" won the weekend with $35.5 million . . . and "Prometheus" bagged another $20.2 million in 2nd place. Here are this week's Top 10 movies . . .

2.) "Prometheus", $20.2 million. Up to $88.9 million in its 2nd week.

4.) "Snow White and the Huntsman", $13.8 million. Up to $123 million in its 3rd week.
5.) (NEW) "That's My Boy", $13 million.
6.) "Men in Black 3", $10 million. Up to $153 million in its 4th week.
7.) "The Avengers", $8.8 million. Up to $587 million in its 7th week.
8.) "The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel", $2.2 million. Up to $35.1 million in its 7th week.
9.) "Moonrise Kingdom", $2.18 million. Up to $6.8 million in its 4th week of limited release.
