CEE LO GREEN has announced that he will have a new animal sidekick on "The Voice" next season. Instead of his cat, Purrfect . . . he'll be accompanied by Lady, a pink Moluccan cockatoo.
--Cee Lo says, quote, "Lady's name says it all. She's my little lady with a big opinion. Sometimes whispers inappropriateness in my ear, but always ladylike."

--But there's a problem: Moluccan cockatoos are endangered species . . . so the animal rights organization Born Free is asking Cee Lo to keep the bird off the show.
--They have two concerns: One, Moluccan cockatoos are NOT good pets, and they don't want people to get the impression that they are. Also, the birds do NOT handle stress well, and they're worried the show might cause Lady to HARM HERSELF.
--A rep for the group says, quote, "Moluccan cockatoos are beautiful, intelligent animals but they are very challenging to care for especially in the long term, and are prone to considerable welfare problems.
--"Many Moluccan cockatoos develop self-destructive behavior including feather plucking, and self mutilation not known to occur in the wild."
--There's been no response from Cee Lo or NBC.
--By the way, Cee Lo has already set up a Twitter account for Lady, like he did for Purrfect. @PurrfectTheCat has over 65,000 followers . . . while @CeeLosLady has already picked up over 250.
