AllHipHop.com says RUN-D.M.C. is back together. A "source close to both camps" claims Joseph "Run" Simmons and Darryl "D.M.C." McDaniels recently had a "high-level meeting" about it.
--If this IS true, there are no details yet on what they are planning to do.
--Run-D.M.C. shut itself down 10 years ago, shortly after the death of Jason "Jam-Master Jay" Mizell. He was shot and killed at his recording studio in 2002.
--At the time, Run said, quote, "We can't perform anymore. Nobody wants to see Run-D.M.C. without Jay . . . I cannot get out in front of my fans with a new DJ . . . That’s all I can say. We are retired."
