#1.) "Frankenweenie" (PG) Trailer 1 and Trailer 2
Tim Burton's new Disney movie is a black and white, 3-D stop-motion animated movie about a boy who uses science to resurrect his dead dog Sparky . . . kind of like the original "Frankenstein".
--It has the voices of Winona Ryder, Martin Landau, Martin Short, Catherine O'Hara. . . . and watch out for an appearance by the legendary Christopher Lee as Dracula.
(--It's actually a big budget remake of a 30-minute short film Tim Burton made back in 1984 that WASN'T animated. You can watch the entire original here.)
Liam Neeson is a retired CIA agent fighting to rescue his family from kidnappers. Again. This time it's his wife who's taken . . . because the kidnappers want revenge for all the guys he killed while rescuing his daughter in the first movie.
--Maggie Grace from "Lost" plays his daughter, and Famke Janssen from the "X-Men" movies plays her kidnapped mother.
#3.) "Pitch Perfect" (PG-13) (Trailer)
Anna Kendrick revamps a college a capella group so they can compete against their male rivals. It also stars Brittany Snow and the succulent Rebel Wilson. (--CAREFUL: There's an uncensored B-word in the trailer. It hit a few select theaters last week.)
#4.) And now, some limited releases you may or may not care about:
"Butter" is a comedy set in the world of competitive butter sculpting. It stars Jennifer Garner, Olivia Wilde, Hugh Jackman, "Twilight" minx Ashley Greene, "Modern Family's" Ty Burrell, Alicia Silverstone, and Rob Corddry. (Trailer)
(--This movie includes Jennifer Garner apologizing for being born TALL, WHITE, AND PRETTY . . . Olivia Wilde pleasuring Ashley Greene . . . AND Olivia giving Ty Burrell a lap dance.)
"The Oranges" stars "Gossip Girl's" Leighton Meester as a rebellious daughter who returns home for Thanksgiving and is caught having an affair with her dad's best friend, who's played by Hugh Laurie.
--It also stars Oliver Platt and Allison Janney as her parents, and Adam Brody as Hugh's son. (Trailer)
"The Paperboy" stars Matthew McConaughey as an investigative reporter trying to prove that death row inmate John Cusack was framed for murder by the corrupt local sheriff.
--It also stars Zac Efron, Nicole Kidman, and Macy Gray . . . and it's directed by Lee Daniels, the guy who did "Precious". He wanted Nicole to say the N-word during one of her scenes, but she flat out REFUSED. (Trailer)
